Your role in RUSH

A captain can change the course of a RUSH

The captain makes the team's tactical decisions: manages the lineup, keeps the team moving, and responds as the RUSH unfolds. The team wins together.

01

Before the RUSH

Know the rules, your roster, and each player's strengths. Prepare a clear opening plan.

02

During play

Track the score, court time, and how the team is doing. Change the lineup, call timeouts, and resolve disputed moments quickly with the operator.

03

The team

Keep everyone involved: share court time, explain decisions, support the bench, and help the players act as one team.

04

After the RUSH

Review the result and rotations, listen to the players, and see which decisions worked.

How to prepare

A good captain

A captain needs to understand the rules, see the whole team, and make confident decisions. Captains can also play, but their player stats are calculated separately.
