Tennis shops in Da Nang: rackets, strings and equipment
A player's guide to Da Nang tennis shops for rackets, strings, clothing, accessories and used gear, with practical checks and ordering tips.
Quick answer: where to buy tennis gear in Da Nang
For a full tennis shop in Da Nang, start with PK Sport. Its two branches carry a broad range of rackets, strings, clothing and accessories, with substantial Yonex stock and the ability to order a racket. It is my regular choice for a planned purchase.
Sỹ Sport, T&Q Sport and the small Tennis Shop are local stores on a different scale. Sỹ Sport still carries strings and some tennis gear although pickleball occupies more space. T&Q is useful for strings and used rackets, while Tennis Shop focuses on simple budget options.

These are places I have used, not a complete directory of every sports shop in Da Nang. Stock and prices change, so confirm the item before travelling.

Choose the shop for the job
PK Sport is the strongest first stop for a new racket, clothing or a wider brand choice. Start with T&Q if you want to inspect used frames. For an inexpensive stringbed, compare Tennis Shop and Sỹ Sport after sending the exact string name through Zalo.
Small sports-shop inventory changes quickly and may shift toward badminton or pickleball. Do not travel based only on old map photos: message the shop, request a current photo of the product and confirm which branch physically has it.
What to check when buying a new racket
Save the exact model name and generation because rackets in one family can differ in weight, head size and string pattern. Before paying, check the grip size, stated unstrung weight, frame, bumper and grommets, and ask whether stringing is included.
For a special order, agree on the full model name, grip size, colour, price, delivery estimate, deposit and inspection terms in advance. Ask for a receipt and warranty conditions on an expensive purchase. Do not choose a heavier or more demanding frame simply because a professional uses it.
Strings, grips and clothing
For strings, give the material, model and gauge. In my experience, PK Sport carries HEAD Lynx Tour and other options at roughly 100,000–400,000 VND for a complete stringbed including labour. The smaller shops carry fewer models but may offer budget choices from 80,000 VND.
Choose grips and overgrips by feel and hand moisture, and try on clothing and shoes. Da Nang is hot and humid, so comfort, ventilation and reliable traction matter more than appearance. Confirm the exact size before travelling.
How to inspect a used racket
I have seen many used rackets at T&Q. Examine the hoop in good light and be cautious about cracks, soft areas, major repairs or damaged grommets. A worn bumper and old grip are normal when the price leaves room for replacement.
Match the model, grip size and actual condition to the asking price. If buying two supposedly identical rackets, compare their weight and balance. Budget for fresh strings and a grip because the old stringbed will not show how the frame plays with your normal setup.
What to send through Zalo
Include the exact model, grip or string size, colour and quantity. For example: “Hello! Do you have a HEAD Speed MP, grip size 3, in stock? What is the final price, and does it include stringing?” Ask for a photo of the actual available item and the branch address.
Visit in the first half of the day when possible. A long midday break is common, and the relevant employee may have left by evening. If the racket or string is at another branch, arrange a transfer or delivery first instead of crossing the city twice.
Turn new equipment into court time
A new racket does not replace regular practice. Find a suitable court, arrange a match through Tennis Danang and Raketo, and allow several sessions before judging the setup. Changing the racket, string and tension at once makes the source of any new feeling difficult to identify.
Coaching and regular matches build the foundation, while RUSH provides a recurring competitive goal: two teams, captains, Singles, Doubles and one score across seven HEATs. You can join solo; the organizer builds the teams, and results and statistics remain on the public event page.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy a tennis racket in Da Nang?
For a new racket, I would start with PK Sport because it has two branches, a broad range and can source models to order. For a used racket, inspect T&Q Sport. Confirm stock, grip size and the final price before travelling.
Can I buy tennis strings in Da Nang?
Yes. PK Sport has had the broadest choice in my experience, while Sỹ Sport, T&Q and the small Tennis Shop also carry strings. A complete stringbed including labour costs roughly 80,000–400,000 VND depending on the model.
Can I buy a used tennis racket in Da Nang?
Yes. I have seen the largest used selection at T&Q Sport. Inspect the frame, bumper and grommets, confirm the grip size and compare the price with a new frame. Plan to replace the old strings and grip after purchase.
Do Da Nang tennis shops sell clothing and shoes?
PK Sport carries clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, although exact models and sizes change. The other shops are much smaller and better suited to strings or individual items. Request a current photo and confirm the branch through Zalo.
Should I order a racket in advance?
Message first when you need a specific model, generation, weight or grip size. PK Sport can source rackets to order. Before paying a deposit, record the full model name, grip size, colour, price, estimated date and inspection terms.
